All major updates on the Minecraft servers are complete, meaning the network is fully operational at this stage.
Some Services Operational
All Virtual Machines are restored to the new server. The firewall has been booted and reconfigured where required. The Web server has been started and web services are back online. Next steps are booting the Minecraft virtual machine, then the Minecraft servers and checking what needs to be updated before we re-open to the public. This should be done in a matter of hours.
Server Delivered
The replacement OVH server has been made available to us as of around 6:00 AM Saturday morning (GMT+11).
The following steps are installing and configuring the hypervisor so we can restore each virtual machine from our backup. The environment will then need to be verified and updated, as we've been offline for a while, before opening back up to the public. The estimated duration at this point is a few days.
IP Addresses transferred to GRA-1
Existing service IP addresses for MCAlagaesia services have been transferred to the new datacentre GRA-1 in Gravelines, France. This indicates that the resumption of backend services may be within the next few days, with players being able to log in shortly after that.
Update + Physical server update
OVH are providing a new server for us to host on in another datacentre. ETA ~10 days, more updates to follow
